I really really love blue and green together. This staircase is SO great.

I would love to have built-in storage like this. And then to have things that fit every space perfectly.
Both of these were found here.

I think I could actually live here

Sometimes when I see stuff on blogs I think it's cool, but I don't ACTUALLY want my house to look like that.

In this case, I ACTUALLY want to live here.

What is that molding on walls called? The frame-like stuff? Whatever it is, I love it. For so many reasons, but one of the reasons is that it gives good balance to so many modern items. Like the bedroom. That huge yellow painting (is awesome) would look really stark, I think, but the molding gives it a more traditional look and also a softer look. The house looks like you are really living there. I wish I knew the name for that, but I don't. And every time I've googled "molding on walls" it doesn't come up with what I'm hoping it will.
Also, the Schuester's apartment on Glee has that, and one time I googled "Will Schuester's apartment Glee" to see if there were pictures of it, but I just got weird fanfic about he and Emma being engaged and her parents coming to his apartment for dinner. It was really bad. Maybe I can find it . . . . nope, no luck. More dumb fanfic, but not that one. Is there anything more embarrassing than fanfic? I don't think so.

house of gril

House of Turquoise has got to be the most magical blog on the internet.

That blue chair WILL be mine someday. Holy crappus. And the design of the pillow? I love that.
Bathrooms like this make me believe that I would totally get up early every day and go running just so I could come home and shower and get ready and spend time in this place. Probably that's a lite, but whatevs.

I highly doubt I would ever actually do this or even want to, but it's WAY awesome.

Things I'm going to buy with my winnings if I lose 1.5 pounds by next Tuesday

I'm too lazy for pictures, so links it is.

Necklaces like the ones below and also like these ones. Or maybe just all the supplies to make my own. It might be more satisfying. But it might also be sort of disappointing that I can't make them as well as they are already made.

A blazer. This one from Gap is SO cute, but $98 seems pretty steep.

A white ruffly collar cardigan. I don't care where from, I just want one. Preferably cropped, so I can wear it with dresses.

Some ruffly shirts and tank tops to wear with cardigans.

Throw pillows for my couches, and if I'm really feeling nuts, new curtains too. They would make our house SO much better.

These beauty products, maybe. I'm not sure if I'd really use so many different perfumes.

The Domino Book of Decorating.

Good news, in my searches for the weird fanfic about Glee (I SERIOUSLY only wanted pics of the Schuester apartment), I also came across a blog called WWEPW. That stands for What Would Emma Pillsbury Wear? While I feel sort of (very) weird being into a blog called that, and while some of the stuff on the blog is kind of weird, one thing about it is that she really found items that seem Emma-esque and tells you where they can be purchased. Awesome.

Well, I'm sure I will think of more things later that I will buy with my winnings, and when I do, let's hope I remember to add it to this list.

Oh! I already did think of more:

Camping gear.

A pedicure.

A haircut from Shep.

Um . . . ok.

Necklace

This can't be that hard to make. I'm going to look into that. Because a piece of ribbon and 50 beads CAN'T really cost $32. I love this necklace.
Same goes for all of these.

swimsuits

I LOVE the little shorts on this! It's perfect for someone with big thighs/modesty issues like me. From Anthropologie, so it's only $150. Perfect.

The next 3 are from Shabby Apple. I really love their dresses.

I'm fairly certain I would never actually wear this one. Red and pasty white don't look too good together. I just think it's adorable.

Are you kidding me?

I really wish this were bigger.

I got the picture from here.

Oh, Anthropologie. Why are you so amazing and expensive?

This outfit is made up of the following items:

I want to run away with that green cardigan.

Wild Hearts Can't be Broken

I watched this recently and wanted to learn more about Sonora Webster.

Apparently she wrote a book about her experiences, and that's where they got the idea for the movie.

Also, she apparently wasn't too pleased with the movie because it was too fictionalized. But I want to read the book, I think it would be interesting.

Remind me again why I don't own a copy of my favorite movie?

I've been thinking about Emma a lot lately. And sort of wishing for Centennial days, and me or TW being sick so we could just pop this baby in the DVD player. Also for some reason I don't actually HAVE this movie. What? Ridiculous.

"I never pay any attention to the mail."

Love the bow in her hair. I also love Mr. Knightley, even though he's saying "Badly done, Emma."

I think this shot is so pretty. And I love Harriet getting all excited about the butterfly SO MUCH.

Frank Churchill. Never cared much about him. And then I saw Moulin Rouge. The next time I watched Emma I suddenly had a crush on Frank Churchill. Well played, Ewan.

I LOVE HER WEDDING DRESS. And the whole wedding. Even if there is a shocking lack of satin.

This dance scene is the sexiest scene in any movie. Seriously. And right before it, when Mr. Knightley says, "Indeed we are not" ? Kills me.

The picnic, more than any other part of the movie, makes me want their lifestyle. Just lounging about and eating Mrs. Elton's gourmet sandwiches sounds really great.

Emma always seems so perfectly dressed for every occasion. I wish I had a strawberry picking dress like that.

Love him.

I think the pink archery dress is my favorite one of the movie. "Try not to kill my dogs."

I LOVE Harriet trying to figure out the riddle. "For heaven's sake, why would he write a riddle about sharks?"

Mrs. Elton's green against Emma's light blue is so pretty. Mrs. Elton is so great. I just want to wrap her up and put her in my pocket.

I love Emma's little cape right here. And how she gossips to Harriet while telling everyone good morning.

And one more Frank. His hair really is terrible. I bet I would have noticed him before Moulin Rouge if his hair weren't so bad.
Oh, this movie is good. It really is my fave. I just want to live in a manor house and wear Empire waisted dresses and spend my days doing charitable work, embroidery, picking flowers to ascertain a man's feelings for me, going to parties, getting ready for parties, painting portraits of my friends, and all the rest.

I got all the images here.

from here.

Belize

The staff welcomes you when you arrive, and waves you off when you depart. Amazing.

Overwater bungalows are my dream. And they are one of the only travel things that Chris actually wants more than I do.

And good news, the one on this private island off the coast of Belize is only $1200 a night! We can totally do that! The regular bungalows are like $1150 or something. For the love.

And the turquoise is killing me too. I found this from House of Turquoise, and the island's website is here.
This place sounds amazing. For the nightly rate you get a personal butler service, 3 tailored meals per day, snacks in your bungalow of your choosing, a stocked bar if that's your thing, a boat ride to the mainland daily, and use of sea kayaks and a sailboat.
