I watched this recently and wanted to learn more about Sonora Webster.
Apparently she wrote a book about her experiences, and that's where they got the idea for the movie.
Also, she apparently wasn't too pleased with the movie because it was too fictionalized. But I want to read the book, I think it would be interesting.
OMG I am totally going to read this book. I was telling James not long ago about how that movie was based on a realy story. and james said "very loosely, I'm sure." he's probably right from the sounds of it.
ReplyDeleteI want to read that book too, and I looked into getting it one time, and there was only ever one printing. Thus this book is like three hundred dollars or so.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I just googled it again to make sure I didn't give you false info, and turns out last year they did a reprint! I am going to read it for shiz. I think I looked it up when I was pregnant circa 2008 so there were only a handful of first editions out for four to five hundred bucks a piece.
